Location
Established in 1993, Dunmore East Adventure Centre is a purpose built Centre located at the top of the slipway in Dunmore East Harbour, and is conveniently adjacent to two sheltered coves, ideal for watersports training. Landsports take place either on site, or within 5 - 10 mins walk from the Activity Base. See the finding us page, for maps.

Qualifications proudly held by our staff:
RYA Advanced Powerboating Instructor, ICU Level 3/4 Kayak Instructor, RYA Senior Sailing Instructor, IOA Orienteering Instructor, BCU Senior Kayak Instructor, IAAA Archery Instructor, RYA Level 3 Windsurfing Instructor, BMTLB Rockclimbing Single Pitch Award, VHF Licence, Advanced Rescue and Emergency Care, NCVA Trainers, Sport for All Trainers.

In addition to our full time staff, the Centre also employs a strong base of casual and part time staff, all chosen for their eagerness to work with people in the outdoors, and because of their own interest and participation in adventure sports.

On Site Facilities
Piping hot showers are always ready for our troops, right at the waters edge. We have a large open balcony overlooking the activities area, ideal for those memorable photo shoots, or for a chat with new friends. The Lecture room is also elevated above the watersports area, and we open a 'Tuck Shop' for the juniors in the Spring and Summer. Hot refreshments are also available when requested.

Equipment
It is our policy to have the best of equipment available to our clients, and our high standards have always been appraised by those who attend our courses. In fact, at the end of each summer season, we strive to replace at least 50% of our equipment with new.
