A Humpback whale has been spotted just a few miles from Dunmore East Adventure Centre. A RTE news crew managed to catch it on film one of the days jumping out of the water 11 times in 45 mins. This is an amazing sight so close to us here.
We hope the whale sticks around for a bit longer.

A new addition to the centre are three beautiful thatched holiday cottages located 5 mins from the activity base in the Upper Village.

We were invaded during Summer 2008 to host Dan Kealy and the Master's Apprentise team for a week of madness!!
Danny was filmed throughout the day for the week and gave his opinion of how the day went. He was issued various different tasks along the way too. Read the RTE Website introduction here

Dave Harris (big brother of Karen) from our local 'Bay Cafe' appears on Cartai Post. Dave was photographed as a youngster looking over the old Dunmore Harbour, before it was re-developed in the sixties. His picture appeared on a John Hinde postcard for many years.

Duncan Stewart came to the centre with filming for his Eco Eye television programme.
The programme was about tourism inthe southeast and Duncan took some time out to have a chat with some of our starfish!!
