 Dunmore East is a beautiful place and even more stunning when you see it from the relaxed vantage point of a sea kayaker.
It doesn't matter if you have never been in a kayak before, Dunmore East is a place where willing arms and a big smile is all you need to join us on many of our guided trips - there really is a trip to suit everybody!
When you finish your trip you return to our base where there are changing rooms, toilets, free hot showers, a hot drink and time to yarn about a fantastic and memorable day out!

Taster Session for Beginners: 2 hours
A perfect introduction to sea kayaking, or just a great opportunity to escape from the mainland for a couple of hours:- this session takes place around the coves, nooks and crannies of Dunmore East, starting and finishing at our base in the harbour. It doesn't matter if you have never been sea kayaking before, we will teach you the basics of handling your sea kayak, and will set off at a leisurely pace, enjoying the scenery, and the natural wildlife!

Half Day Guided Tour: 3 hours, morning or afternoon
Our half day trip consists of a guided tour along our beautiful unspoiled coastline. Ideal for beginners or those who already have sea paddling experience, during this memorable trip your guide will bring you to some of our most interesting coastline features, and introduce you to many of our wildlife species

Full Day Tour: 10am - 3pm
Appreciate the Waterford coastline in the best possible way - up close and personal in a modern sea kayak. The local coastline is steeped in history with tales of pirates and smugglers, submarines and slavery.
Our full day tour is all about getting further off the beaten track, and exploring coastline that is rarely seen by other travellers.

We can provide instruction and training in the fundamental elements of sea kayaking. We will tailor make a session for you.
